Gas Prices Recovering After Hurricane Spike

Americans are still feeling the effects of gas prices after the hurricane’s that hit. While gas is down 1 cent from last week, and down 12 cents from a month ago; it is about 20 cents higher than it was in 2016. The largest drop in price came from the south, where a few states (GA, SC, FL) had seen nearly 30 cents shaved off the gallon. States out in the West, (OR, CA, WA) have not experienced much change in price. While gas continues to fall, the price of diesel is up nearly 1% from last week.
