North Carolina Driver Shut Down Permanently
A driver from North Carolina has been shut down by the Federal Government after a hit and run, while intoxicated. The FMCSA has deemed Simranjeet Singh Sandhu too dangerous to conduct interstate transportation. Per an FMCSA statement, Sandhu was operating a large commercial vehicle at 2:10am, and made an erratic lane change without signaling his turn signal. He struck another vehicle fatally injuring the driver, and severely injuring the passenger. After the collision, Sandhu did not stop driving. 5 hours later he was found at a rest stop in New Jersey, with his truck heavily damaged. He failed a field sobriety test, and a breathalyzer test. He had 3 CDL licenses on him, illegally.
