A Truck Limiter Will Cause Congestion
A Truck Limiter is a way to prevent rigs from traveling over a maximum speed. While they are a good idea on shorter routes, when traveling far distances they can be a hassle. By limiting the speed and reducing the speed as well, it creates an even larger margin of speed difference between rigs and regular vehicles. This is fine if you have a multi-lane highway where cars can pass. However, if you have multiple commercial vehicles traveling at the same speed for long distances, it can shut down 2 lanes and cause serious congestion.
