$1 Trillion Infrastructure Pledge Looks Promising for Truckers

Trucking Companies are looking forward to the proposed infrastructure pledge, as upgrades to roads and bridges will surely lift the US Economy. Already effectively removing roadblocks that prevent the rebuilding process. According to the American Trucking Association, bumpy roads add $49.6 billion in added costs to the trucking industry. By 2040, deficient roads will have caused over $1 trillion in damages, diminishing the overall economy by $3 trillion. Rebuilding and repairing the roads we drive on will save time and more importantly money, in the long run. Currently, trucks move about 56% of our overall GDP, and 1 in every 16 jobs is in trucking.
