Protest By Uber Drivers Over Minimum Wage


Protest For Increased Minimum Wage

On Tuesday, Uber drivers are going to protest, calling for an increased minimum wage. Hundreds of drivers, fast food workers, airport employees, and home aids will organize in the San Francisco Airport, according to Fight for 15.

Uber Drivers will carry signs saying, “Your Uber is Arriving Striking”. In other cities, drivers will idle their cars, and/or march with other low wage workers from other industries.

Uber has said in the past, that drivers in its top 20 locations, make on average, >$19 per hour, but this excludes driver expenses such as gas, repairs, and insurance.
