Ice Road Trucker Dies
While returning to Montana, Ice Road Trucker star Darrell Ward died in an airplane crash. According to Missoula County Sheriffs, Ward was trying to land on a small airstrip, when something went wrong. Witnesses say that the plane crashed into a small patch of trees during the failed landing. In his free-time, Darrell was out helping his community. Sometimes, he would go out and help fight forest fires with local Montana officials. Darrell was about to start filming a documentary on airplane wreck recoveries before his tragic death Ward is survived by his children, and grandchildren.
