The last time Diesel gas was under $2.00 per gallon at the pump, was February 14, 2005. Last week, gas fell by 2.8 cents, and settled at $1.98 per gallon. This price is 88.5 cents lower than the $2.86, exactly one year ago. In 2009, gas dropped to $2.02, but never eclipsed the $2.00 mark. In addition to diesel, gas is under $2.00, beating its low from a month ago, $1.72 nationally.
